Shipping Policy

Shipping Timelines

We offer Canada-wide shipping and local pickup options in the Greater Toronto Area. Our standard shipping timelines apply to orders placed before 12 PM EST on a business day.

Standard Shipping Estimates

  • Small Parcel Orders (UPS, FedEx, Purolator, Canpar, etc.) → Ships within 1-2 business days
  • Oversized Freight Orders (Treadmills, Cable Machines, etc.) → Ships within 4-5 business days
  • Local Pickup (Mississauga & Whitby Locations)  Mississauga: Ready in 1 business day | Whitby: Ready in up to 3 business days

Local Delivery (Greater Toronto Area)

  • Local deliveries will be scheduled within 2 business days
  • Deliveries will take place within 2 weeks from the scheduled date

Special Order & Extended Lead Time Items

Some products have longer fulfillment times and do not follow standard shipping timelines.

  • Special Order Items & Pre-Orders – These products are clearly marked on the product page below the ‘Add to Cart’ button with their estimated shipping time frame.
  • "Request a Quote" Items – Some items require a quote instead of a direct purchase. These products typically have longer lead times. Please contact us for estimated lead times before placing your order.
  • While we strive to provide the most accurate estimates, these dates may change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Please note: All items in your order will ship together once everything is in stock. If you would like to arrange partial fulfillment for a pickup order, please contact us at support@northernfitness.ca. Additional charges may apply.


Parcel vs. Oversized Shipments

Orders are shipped based on size and weight:

Parcel Orders (Small & Medium Items)

  • Shipped via UPS, FedEx, Purolator, or Canpar
  • Standard delivery to your shipping address
  • PO Boxes are not accepted – Most items are too bulky to be shipped to a PO Box. Please provide a physical street address at checkout.

Oversized Freight Orders (Large Items)

  • Shipped via LTL Freight (Less-than-Truckload)
  • The shipping company will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment
  • Curbside Delivery Only – The driver will not bring items inside. Customers must unload their order from the truck or arrange for assistance.

Pickup Options (Greater Toronto Area)

We offer free local pickup at our Mississauga and Whitby locations.

  • Mississauga Pickup → Orders typically ready within 1 business day
  • Whitby Pickup → Orders typically ready within up to 3 business days (items are transferred from our primary warehouse in Mississauga)

You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup. Please schedule an appointment before arriving.


Shipping Charges & Refund Policy

  • All shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched from our warehouse.

Lost or Stolen Shipments

If you believe your order has been lost or stolen, please contact us immediately.

  • We will work with the carrier to investigate the issue.
  • If the item is confirmed stolen, we will provide a replacement whenever possible.
  • If a replacement is not available, a refund will be issued.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.
