It comes with 12 pieces of 5 lb plates for a total of 60lbs additional weight. With this kit, you no longer have to drive to the gym to do heavier hand-weight exercises.

Upgrade Kit includes 12 each of the 5 lb Quick-Lock Dumbbell weight plates.

All the plates included in this kit have the same size in terms of height and width, making them easier to pick up, hold and load. These plates are designed to interlock with one another, making them easier to handle. This allows you to add or remove multiple plates from your dumbbell in a few seconds, and with ease.

I sold a set of old pro dumbells

They took up lots of space...

I looked at many different styles and chose ironmaster.

There not the quickest of the ones I viewed but definitely don't take much time.

I don't do drop downs so the few seconds it takes doesn't bother me at all.

There well built and feel great.

I also bought a micro set

Awesome product packaging was awesome for safety

Best Adjustable dumbbells that you can buy that will last for a very long time.
