AL-3061B All-in-One Functional Smith Trainer

First of all a shout out to Northern Fitness. It’s getting pretty rare to have a company give such good service and stand behind the products they sell. However, there will be no shout it for the delivery/shipping companies who are pretty much determined to treat your expensive purchase as roughly and unprofessionally as they possibly can. Good thing I have a skid steer with forks or this smashed up 1200 pound delivery would have never make it up the long acreage driveway.

Anyway, the 3061B as others have stated is an amazing piece of equipment. We are not new to weight training and already have a nice gym setup but this just put it over the top. The quality is excellent and the variety for lifting and different exercise’s is incredible. Don’t be afraid to assemble this with another person if you can. It took my wife and I about 5 solid hours and everything lined up like a charm. There were a few parts that were slightly damaged or not working perfectly smooth (probably due to the shipping company) but Northern Fitness and Altas stepped up immediately and shipped anything that was needed. I would say this is definitely light commercial grade but is well built for our intended purpose. The jammer arms are an awesome upgrade even though I only truly use them for about 12 or so extra exercises, but if you are spending the money anyway have all the gadgets. It’s also amazing how many attachments are included with this machine, especially the leg press and cable…

This will be a 2 weeks in review:

My husband and I have been gym rats for years, but with the COVID close down and life, we stopped going to the gym. We've been looking for an home gym for a while, but been used to commercial gym quality equipment, nothing on the market was strong and sturdy enough for us. One of our friends bought one of your product and he was sold! So we followed with this beastttt home gym! And we've been nothing but satisfied since the first used !

The customer service was great and the delivery was.. interesting! The delivery man thought he was going to deliver to a commercial gym.. with a delivery dock but he ended up at our house in the middle of the wood. The package was enormous, 1200 pounds. Took my husband 2 hours to bring inside all the pieces inside from the backyard, but was totally worth it.

Like the other review mentioned, most of the big parts are color coded to make it easier. The instructions are challenging, one page is in Mandarin. But you can figure it out with the parts numbers. Only thing: we must of missed the part were the metal ring side was mentioned: put the sharp side towards you otherwise the rubber covers won't stay on.

Preferably clean and lubricate/grease the pulleys before the complete machine set up otherwise you will have to take apart to make it run smoothly.

We've been using this beast for the last 2 weeks and we are over the moon with our purchase!!
